Platform Purpose & Independent Facilitation Framework

ScholarHub (scholars.online and registration.scholars.online) operates as an independent academic training coordination platform and technology intermediary. We facilitate academic masterclasses, research clinics, statistical workshops, and professional development seminars led by independent academic facilitators, postdoctoral researchers, university faculty, and specialized consultants.

ScholarHub is an independent facilitation platform and is not an accredited university, degree-awarding college, or formal higher education institution. The training sessions, syllabuses, and workshops facilitated on our platform are designed for scholarly development and continuing professional education; they do not award formal university degrees, institutional academic credits, or accredited diplomas.

Participant Eligibility & Registration Accuracy

Enrollment is open to independent scholars, undergraduate students, postgraduate candidates (Master's and PhD), academic researchers, institutional faculty, and industry professionals. By completing registration for any programme:

  • You represent and warrant that the information you provide—including your full name, email address, telephone contact, and academic or institutional affiliation—is accurate and current.
  • Registration places are allocated subject to verified capacity.
  • Providing falsified names, duplicate spam submissions, or deceptive identity credentials may result in the cancellation of your registration without refund.
03
Clause • 03 of 10

Independent Facilitator Status & Intellectual Property

  • Facilitator Independence: All instructors, workshop leaders, and guest scholars act as independent contractors and educational facilitators. Views, empirical methodologies, research findings, and opinions expressed during sessions belong solely to the respective facilitator and do not necessarily reflect the official views of ScholarHub.
  • Intellectual Property: All syllabus outlines, presentation slides, datasets, research guides, code repositories, and recorded media are the intellectual property of the facilitating instructor or their licensors.
  • Limited License: Registered candidates receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access session materials solely for personal academic study. Any commercial re-use, public rebroadcasting, unauthorized sharing, or resale is strictly prohibited.
04
Clause • 04 of 10

Facilitation Fees & Payment Terms

  • Fee Structure: Certain advanced masterclasses and empirical workshops require a registration or facilitation fee to cover instruction, computational resources, syllabus packs, and operational logistics. All applicable fees and payment options are clearly stated on the registration portal.
  • Payment Verification: For fee-based programmes, participant placement is not guaranteed until payment verification has been completed by the platform administration.
  • Taxes & Currencies: All transactions are denominated in the stated operational currency. Participants are responsible for any local banking transaction fees or currency conversion charges.
05
Clause • 05 of 10

Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refund Policy

  • Facilitator Rescheduling: In the rare event an independent facilitator experiences illness, severe academic conflict, or connectivity disruptions, the session will be rescheduled promptly. Registered scholars will be notified via email, and enrollment will transfer to the new date, or a credit voucher will be issued upon request.
  • Participant Cancellations: If you are unable to attend a registered session, written notice must be submitted to admissions@scholars.online at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time to receive a credit note or refund. Cancellations submitted within 24 hours of commencement or unannounced absences ("no-shows") are non-refundable.
06
Clause • 06 of 10

Scholarly Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to maintain the highest standards of collegiality, ethics, and mutual respect:

  • Maintain constructive and polite discourse during discussions, breakout sessions, and Q&A interactions.
  • Disruptive conduct, harassment, commercial solicitation, hate speech, or offensive behavior will lead to immediate expulsion from the session without refund.
  • Sharing private virtual meeting links, passcodes, or seminar access credentials with unverified non-registered individuals is strictly forbidden.
  • Scholarly honesty must be upheld; plagiarizing work or presenting another scholar's research as your own during interactive clinics is strictly prohibited.
07
Clause • 07 of 10

Technical Requirements & Service Availability

  • Participant Technical Readiness: For virtual or hybrid cohorts, participants are responsible for ensuring adequate broadband connectivity, functional audio/video equipment, and compatible software (e.g. Zoom or Google Meet).
  • Service Continuity: While ScholarHub employs resilient server infrastructure, we do not warrant uninterrupted operation. ScholarHub is not liable for interruptions resulting from third-party videoconferencing providers, local electrical grid failures, or participant-side network outages.
08
Clause • 08 of 10

Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • ScholarHub, its directors, employees, and independent facilitators shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from platform use, attendance at facilitated sessions, or reliance upon syllabus materials.
  • While sessions offer rigorous methodological and scholarly training, ScholarHub makes no representation that attendance guarantees journal publication, doctoral thesis approval, employment, or academic promotion.
